Designer: Sofia Samrad

   Sofia was born and raised in London, where

     she lived until she  moved to Washington

      DC to study Business and Theatre with

      a minor in Journalism at American University.

     She decided to transfer to The University

     of Maryland in 2010 where she obtained

   a full scholarship and joined Hinman CEO’s.

    She graduated at the age of 20 with a double

     major in Business and Theatre in May 2011

        and currently resides in Manhattan, NY.

Sofia has a unique dynamic cultural background, is well traveled and is able to seamlessly blend ideas and experiences from various cultures.  She has very strong creative and design skills - a direct result of her extensive training in textiles and design technology.

Digitalebas blends unique London Fashion accompanied with a Persian Twist. The concept behind the name was the blending of a digital modern London society with clothing (“Lebas” in Farsi).

Sofia debuted her collection on March 4th 2011 at the “Beauty is Skin Deep Fashion Benefit for Skin Cancer” by Sinergy.
